A ratings system for postings?

I tap away at this blogging malarky for many reasons but, as in everything, I strive to improve.

So, I was looking to augment the technology powering this blog, with a means to gather quick feedback. ds-rating-plugin is a candidate: it provides the means to allow readers to star-rate postings.

Ideally I’d have it provide ratings along multiple dimensions, e.g. coherence, relevance, insightfulness, humor. Presently it rates only along “goodness”, but that’s wishy-washy.
Not only should it be a guide for me, so I can improve, it should be a guide for others, so they to know what to read. And then, I want to tag cloud the postings according to what people say.

Presently all the tag clouds I see are on the supply side, i.e. what I want to write about, but what about what people want to read?

Hits give a course level of granularity. Ratings would fine tune it.
