About Martin

I am an academically qualified Business architect and IT integration team leader with specialist knowledge in large scale Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technologies gained from eight years experience in major blue chip and top-tier finance organisations. In addition to holding an MSc (1995) in Computing Science, I hold an MBA (2005) specialising in Organisational Design. Together these provide me with both the broad context to understand and articulate strategy and the detailed operational approach essential to ensure delivery of workable solutions.

Hardworking and approachable with an enthusiasm that has shown to be contagious in building effective teams, I am fast and thorough learner and am innovative in developing and implementing ideas. I rapidly adapt to new situations and am adept at articulating complex problems into simple form.

I am always seeking to synthesise my ability to design and integrate complex systems architecture and integration experience with the field of knowledge management, strategy and culture towards the goal of supporting collaboration. It is in this space that I best use my skills and understanding of straight-through-processing to enable efficient, effective and agile knowledge management in large and dynamic organisations.

I’ve been Wiki Consulting since 2001. In 2007 I founded Blended Perspectives, my consulting firm that specialises in helping firms define their collaboration strategy and implement them using Web 2.0 technologies. Much of our work continues to come from defining, implementating and training around wikis.
