Profile photos from the conference

Like CMC2004 I willbe posting the profile pictures I took of the attendees.
Once the CMC distributes the attendee list (and I get some time) I will update the wiki with the updated profiles, so you can put names to faces and locations.

… its likely because you’ve turned off Options > Search Engines in the Site Admin.
You might as well be talking in a room by yourself!

I plan to install a plugin ’subscribe to comments’ - this will allow you to indicate that you want to be notified by email when someone follows up to a thread in the comments.

Anyone else getting a lot of spam posts?

Hi all,
Periodically wordpress asks me to moderate spam postings for sites like ‘depressionfeed’ etc. This is pretty annoying… is anyone else seeing the same on their blog?

I was asked when I gave my presentation at CMC2006 about making the site multi-lingual as not everyone speaks English.
There are, in fact, two translation problems I would like to solve:

Translation of the user interface (menus, and wordpress system messages)
Translation of postings
